Florida's State Budget: Summary by Issue Area

Each year, Florida Policy Institute (FPI) publishes an analysis of the state budget.

The state budget for the current fiscal year, which began on July 1, 2024, and runs through June 30, 2025, totals $116.5 billion after accounting for $949.6 million in vetoes. This represents a decrease of $2 million — or 0.001 percent — from the budget enacted for the previous fiscal year.
