Florida's Constitution Revision Commission

Changing a state’s constitution has a much more lasting impact than changing state laws. In Florida, the opportunity to change the constitution comes along just once every twenty years. That opportunity is approaching, in 2018, which means that we are just a few months away from the selection of a Constitution Revision Commission.

The Constitution Revision Commission is a group of 37 people who will review and recommend changes to Florida’s Constitution, which provides for the commission in Article XI, Section 2. Even if you are not selected or nominated for the commission, you can influence the future of Florida’s constitution.
