Dan DeLeo is an attorney who has practiced law for more than 25 years as a civil litigator. He is Board Certified in Business Litigation and represents diverse clients such as large manufacturers and governmental entities such school boards. Dan is licensed in Florida and Illinois and practices in state and federal courts throughout the state of Florida.
Dan has also been active in public education in Florida for the last 20 years serving in various capacities in the Sarasota County Schools including; as General Counsel, on the Financial Advisory Committee, COPS and Impact Fees Ad Hoc Committees and he ran the school tax referendum campaigns in 2014, 2018 and 2022 in Sarasota County.
Dan believes in public service. He was appointed in 2023 to the City of Sarasota Planning Board and sits on the Board of the Community Foundation Sarasota County, the Sarasota Chamber Board, Sarasota Crew Board, CreArte Latino Board and is a member of Leadership Florida.
Dan is the proud father of 2 daughters.
