Daniel is a policy analyst working on housing policy in Florida. Before joining FPI, Daniel served as an education and communications intern with Hispanic Access Foundation and Greening Youth Foundation at Everglades National Park. During his time at Everglades, Daniel developed educational programs, helped build the park’s social media presence, assisted in the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and conducted research on various cultural history topics such as Operation Pedro Pan, Nike Missile Base HM69, and the early Black communities of the Everglades.
Daniel is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in international development and humanitarian assistance from the University of Florida.
